Scenario-Based Learning for Transit Agencies
This is part of a course on financial management for transit agency personnel. The course teaches accounting principles, but from the perspective of using accounting to increase financial performance, rather than just to track expenses and revenue.
Throughout the course, we teach by using a scenario-based approach so we're presenting information in the context of a real-world transit agency. This brings otherwise dry financial concepts to life by presenting them in the context that students are likely to encounter them.
The course also makes use of a character-based narrator, who presents information as a mentor, rather than just an unidentified voice.
We were responsible for all phases of production including scripting and storyboarding, instructional design, graphics, professional voiceover, and producing the screens using Adobe Captivate.
